I am livid and won't rest until something is done about this. Today, 23.01.2022, I've had to go pick up my daughter who was denied entry to class because of a fees issue. In my case this was due to an account number error on a payment that was made on the 10th of Jan. I was told by the school that as long as money is not reflecting in their account, the kids will not be allowed in class, mind you I had sent proof of payment and was only made aware of this error today!!! My issue is the way the school has absolutely no regard for the well-being of the children. Why are the kids being involved in these discussions when they aren't responsible for fees. Why should they be put through the humiliation of being pulled out of classrooms and made to sit in the office all day over issues that should be handled with parents??? My daughter even knows how much some of the other kids' parents are owing which just shows the lack of regard for discretion and privacy for the kids. Is this not opening up channels for bullying and self-confidence issues with the kids?

As it stands, we are in week 3 of term 1 but the Gr 8's have still not had any Math's and Robotics lessons due to teacher availability, but you have not heard parents making a noise and protesting, as we have been made to understand that the school is in the process of solving the issues. When the roles are reversed and parents are having issues, our kids are getting such horrible treatment. I am by no means saying the school should allow kids with outstanding fees to attend as usual but under no circumstances should this discussion happen with the child. The least they could have done was send them home with letters this afternoon for the parents' attention.

I will certainly be escalating this issue to CEO of the schools as this is completely unacceptable!!!
