Royal School Pretoria West Queens

I am a parent of 4 kids in Royal School in Pretoria west. 3 are in school and the other in Grade R. Im self employed and during lockdown I really struggled to keep up with the school fees for all these 4 kids. Hence I mentioned this to the school and interested with 4 people in the schools finance department. Since may I have been in discussions with the school and the school did not have any sympathy about my financial strains and it was still insisted that I pay full amount for the kids even though they are not at school for covid. My major problem is this one in Grade R, yesterday I received a call from the school and they said I should come to school and my son since he is in errears from April to date. I must say my son just went back to school now in October. They insist that I pay full school fees for him.

I mentioned the hat during lockdowm since the children were not allowed to come to school i had to make arrangements for someone to babysit while I work .

The school insist that the want almost 10,000 to date or they will take him out if class.

Then today the wife of the school owner calls me on the phone. Rude as she can be she told me that if I'm not happy with school administration then I should take out all my kids out of her school. I said to her, where does she think I should take my children to since its exam time and she continued to be very nasty towards me and said I can even report her to the department od education she does not care Her school is a private school. She was shouting and cursing and laughing uncontrollably like a school child and says blCk people like free things. I told her that I have 4 kids there and my children are 2 years in that school and the school fees were even prepaid for 2019 fir all 4 kids. This year has been hard on many people and she said she wants the money or she will take legal action.

I ask her since she is saying I should take my kids out why mention legal action now? She said I must cone to the school now and then I can shout there with her and I told her that I see that she enjoys the shouting of which I dont.

Tanya Fourie was ****** and very unproffessional towards me. I dont know what her job is there at the school or she was just calling me as the wife on the school owner. I'm very unhappy with this school about so many things but this was the worst. The ******** in the school clouds the professional judgements and decision that the school takes. There is more unproffessionalism at the school and yes, I want planning not to re register the children at the school anyhow.

Is the school allowed to get 100% of the school fees while even themselves received the covid relief fund and yet they refused some parents the same benefit and they just want money and not even what is best for the school abd the kids. They should even name one sports activity that is tgere at the school, just one...they have none. This is a bad school in my opinion. Even public schools offer more than this school.
