Unprofessional,Rude and ******.
<p>Extremely unprofessional staff.</p> <p> </p> <p>We booked the RNYC for an event.</p> <p> </p> <p>We record all calls going out . We traced back got a copy of the call made to the RNYC on the 5/08/2016. It was stated that we could bring our own food in.</p> <p><br />We have copies of all emails . It was only mentioned a week before the event that no food was allowed on premises.</p> <p> </p> <p>We called in to confirm this and they stated so. They them treated us extremely rudely and made a problem out of nothing.</p> <p><br />That is besides the point , it was an issue of cupcakes that a sponsor was sponsoring. We wanted to know if we could still bring it in or not.</p> <p><br />We called the sponsor that morning and cancelled the cupcakes so there would be no issues at the event and thought of asking the RNYC to cater some desserts for us.</p> <p><br />We then received a call from a male supervisor who was extremely rude for no reason , behaving as if we were going to sneak food into the venue. It was extremely demeaning for the person that had to endure this.</p> <p><br />Please note that we are an international company and host these empowerment workshops internationally.</p> <p> </p> <p>We then received this email the same day:</p> <p>Good day,</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Please be advised that we have cancelled your booking and that you are advised to source an alternative venue.</p> <p> </p> <p>You can try Point Yacht Club on (031) ********** .</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Kind Regards</p> <p>Stephen RG Rawlins</p> <p>Royal Natal Yacht Club - Manager</p> <p>T: (031) ********** </p> <p>F: (031) ********** </p> <p> </p> <p>They cancelled our booking for no valid reason , 7 days before the event.</p> <p><br />As far as we are concerned there are no issues and we have incurred damages and losses as it is too late to find an alternate venue and the fault lies with the club for cancelling our booking for no specific reason. Again extremely unprofessional. </p> <p><br />This seems more like ****** as we have been told from previous Indian people that have wanted to book the RNYC that they have also had rude encounters with the RNYC.</p> <p> </p> <p>We are a highly reputable company and do not appreciate such disrespect from such a minor enterprise.</p> <p><br />Extremely disappointed.</p> <p> </p>
