Terrible Royal Marang Hotel

Date: 26th - 27th October 2019 I booked a stay at the Royal Marang Hotel which suppose to be a 5 star hotel but I am extremely disappointed and shocked with my experience.

My wife and I were traveling with our 4 month old baby, when we got to the hotel, after a 30 minute wait and after many complaints we were told that there was no room for us. We were shocked and disappointed and I told them they were not allowed to chase my family and 4 month old baby away as we had no place to live and we are unfami**** with the area and there are many townships around and it was already late hours of the night and dark outside. So the manager suggested he could escort us to another hotel which was also 5 stars and he said we would prefer it there and it was only 5 minutes away.

So we followed him but the travel never seemed to end. It was more than 5 minutes away! We were shocked to drive through a township with people drinking in the road and having parties. He eventually got to his destination and he drove into the township and into a gravel driveway in the dark and there was a women in her pijama nighty that opened the gate. I do not know what hotel this was but it definitely did not seem to be 5 stars. It looked like a house inside the township and they were still building and renovating during the night. We felt threatened and I was very scared for my babies safety by this and we just wanted to leave.

The manager apologized that he took us there, he said he took us there because it was cheaper and he thought we would prefer it! I was in shoc****!

It was the worst night of my life!!!!

I cannot believe booking.com would do business with such a terrible hotel! I am shocked that they treated us this way with a baby!!!

How do they even get 5 stars?
