Poor service and unresponsiveness during after receiving payment I engaged Royal Investigations (John Alexander) in late 2020 after being ****med. They assisted at the start of the case, including doing two newspaper articles once a warrant of arrest was issued. Beyond that, I received very little support. For 5years I was the one following up directly with the investigating officer at SAPS, sitting with the Prosecutor and tracking the suspect myself. During the entire 5years I would call him in between but he wouldn’t pick up calls or return calls. Recently I managed to resolve the matter and recover what I was owed. When I reached out to update them on this and request a simple contact detail for one of the journalists involved (so the article could be updated to reflect the resolution)I was met with unreturned calls, an unwillingness to help and ultimately dismissive one-word responses. As a client, I expected support to continue throughout the case or at least basic responsiveness, at the point when I actually needed help not just at the start of the case before payment was made. I would caution others to consider this level of service before engaging this investigator. He wants his full amount upfront but throughout the duration of the required service he won’t support you, he will do bare minimum. Please consider other professional PI’ this one is pathetic and has got an attitude that stinks to high heavens.
