Royal Dress Hire - Wellington South Africa

Our daughter attends a special needs school and we hired a dress paid in full even though only a deposit was required. We have no signed contract the owner is insisting on his bank contact as his reason for no refund. He has indicated that we can hire at another stage. Our daughter school only goes to a certain grade and therefore the hire will no longer be necessary. We have given more than 3 months notice before the actual date of when the event was meant to take place. We even asked that we have a part refund. The owner is not being forthcoming on anything. It's a huge waste of money and leaves poor taste
