Wrongfully withheld deposit

I rented a property from them for period 1st July 2014 to 30 April 2015.<br> I paid an R8000.00 deposit up front which they now won't refund to me. They say they will, but they don't.<br> They promised payment for Monday 11th May -- nothing, then promised for Tuesday 12th May -- nothing, then promised for Wednesday 13th May -- nothing. It is now Thursday 14th and they have stopped answering my emails.<br> <br> On moving out end of April 2015, Remax, the letting agent, checked the property, confirmed to them that I'd left the property in good repair and recommended that my deposit be refunded in full.<br> <br> I paid my rental timeously each month in advance.
