I made an appointment at the beginning of October 2019. The so called owner was unable to make it and sent his assistant to meet us at the given address. He told us it would take 4 weeks. After paying my 75% deposit and much communication from my side, the owner made excuses as to why my couches were not made as of yet. He had changed his number and said that Kraken Projects had taken over. I gave him 2 additional deadlines. After 8 weeks I asked if we were back on track with the couches and he said yes. I then asked when could I expect them and this is where I was told that they couldn't give me an answer, they had no materials, blamed suppliers and said that the production line was full. Worst of all, communication via email was sent by different aliases. After no communication received I asked for a refund. Miraculously, they had just received the materials and refused to give me the refund. I asked again and he said they were pushing for couches to be sent out during the week. Only when I escalated things did he agree to refund me, but only after a certain family member interfered and pretended to be his client. Insinuations were made where legal action would be made against myself as well as the manufacturer used at the time. I was then given terms and conditions to sign in order to receive my refund, only to find that he wanted to refund me within 60 working days (by law it is 7 days), his terms and conditions were not only unfair, beneficial only to him, but violate several consumer laws. Please know your consumer rights before you sign a contract - You do not have to sign anything that you are uncomfortable with. Fast forward I am still waiting for my refund since I asked in December - I have not received even a portion of the refund and I have been threatened because warning people against someone who is constantly changing his name, contact details, and company name is defamation of character.
