Wedge heel sandle that broke while walking down the isle

<p>My sister and i purchased a wedge heel sandal for my niece from the phoenix store on the 27/28 April for my sister’s wedding on the 29th of April. while walking down the isle at the church the entire heel came off. the sole was left being strapped to her feet. The heel was out completely . My cousin in the crowd could see something was wrong and came to our aid. we took of the other leg and left her at the front without any shoes on, he went to a shop near buy purchased glue and stuck it back for her, he made it in time before the reception could start however my 10 year niece had to walk out of the church barefoot. we went back to the store on the 11 of May as we had a death in the family the day after the wedding. The sales assistant said there was nothing she could do , she would contact her boss but she knows that there is no exchange or refunds. i went back to the store the past Sunday and she gave me the same story so i asked to please talk to the owner, he advised me that there is no guarantee , no refunds or exchanges. he asked me to leave his store as i was raising my voice. he advised we already used the item, he would not listen to the fact that i agree we used it but only for about 2 hours , i will even say 3 hours to be nice before it broke in front of everyone. we dressed around 11.30 and the wedding started at 1. The owner went on to say i can do what i want, go where i want but i will not receive any refund. There is a sign in the store that says no exchange or refund on NON DEFECTIVE ITEMS, this item was clearly a defective one. I would greatly appreciate my refund on this item as i do not wish to keep a sandal that broke after 2 hours of use which was not even a lot of walking as we at a wedding apart from all the embarrassment of having her to walk barefoot at my sister’s wedding while she is a part of the retinue.</p>
