lost money...no product

I recently decided to attempt an order with Rosegal as they say they deliver for free world wide. I went through the entire registration process but when thet asked for a photo of my identitiy document and one of my credit card, I wrote to them to question the security of sending such photos online. They assured me that they always required this and reluctantly I send the photos to the respondee. I could not do it any other way as the connection white-screened when trying to send through the log in process.

I repeatedly emailed Rosegal to find out what the status was but received no response. When I received an email asking to comply with the verification process, I attempted to resend the photos through the log on process but still could not do so. Knowing that I had sent them to the sales manager via email, I was surprised to receive an email informing that I had failed the verification process and that the orderwas cancelled.

Despite asking why, I was just told that it had failed. Not a big deal exceot that I lost approximately R400 in the process due to insurance on the order and exchange control. When I mentioned this to Rosegal, they just responded that they paid me what they owed me....no further explaination and no compensation for my loss.

That is unfair practice and I still have no explaination.
