HARASSED IN PARKING LOT

At 18.29 today I went to rosebank mall for dinner. I was parked in my car within close proximity to the lift. For approximately 6 minutes deciding on my dinner choice when I was approached abruptly by a security guard named Samuel Zweze. I opened up my window and said good evening, what's wrong? He then went on to say how you, twice loudly - as if I was wrong for asking why a security guard approached me in my car. I answered saying I'm fine thanks and you? He ignored me and asked me "What are you doing in your car?" In an accusotary manner. Meanwhile I had driven in 6 minutes earlier. He then insisted that I have to leave my car. I told him that I would be two minutes more and I would leave. He continued to raise his voice and harass me saying I need to leave the car now as I am not allowed to stay longer in the car. After which 2 more guards approached my car, at this point I was highly upset and confused as to what was going on. I took out my parking ticket and showed him the time was 18.29 and he had come to the car at 18.35. I was confused as to why my car had been singled out specifically, being there for 5 minutes only and opposite the lift with the parking full of other cars. I said I don't have time for this and I will take this matter to parking management. I quickly made my way to the security office and complained to Manager: Londolani Makesha. She tried to resolve the situation by calling the Supervisors who had been the 2 other guards named Milton and Chrisbian with Samuel. She agreed that Samuel should apologize and was out of line for his behavior as no one should be harassed in the parking lot and can take their time deciding where to go like, "Tashas or News Cafe." They called Samuel, however he maintained he wasn't wrong. And took steps towards me and my partner, a female, she told him to step back however he persisted. Samuel then said he was "alone" and it's not fair because we are "two people." This had no correspondence with the situation whatsoever. He then said, "God knows what I said." Again, while emotive, not relevant at all. Despite the manager and supervisors admitting that Samuel should apologize, when he came they went silent and seemed fearful to face him. Both supervisors maintained that the rules say you need to approach a car after 5 minutes approximately, for security purposes. We then asked if all cars get this 5 minute treatment and said we'll help them do their job and join them in approaching cars after 5 minutes. They said no. Leaving many cars to relax for much over 5 minutes. We asked to see the rule book, this too was declined. Furthermore, the one supervisor said this is done to avoid car theft. When I asked, "So me, being in the driver seat will ***** my own car?" They went silent. We left stating that we had done the right thing in approaching management and giving them well over enough time to right their wrongs and we will take this further. As we walked away, the supervisor suddenly claimed to need our information and said we have to report Samuel or else he'll do this again. We gave all our details and said feel free to contact us. I left the mall feeling harassed and frankly disrespected by the security staff. I was treated as a ******** or an offender, for simply sitting in my car for 6 minutes. I am absolutely disgusted by the security staff in Rosebank Mall. Everyone make sure you remember to run out of your car into the mall as soon as you arrive: this is what the Rosebank mall security staff expect.
