Don't buy from the iStore pre owned shop in Rosebank

Good day. I have purchased I iphone from the iStore pre owned store in Rosebank on 18th July 2023and for the first couple of month.Owning the phone I was happy with it until the battery started swelling. Not only is it a disappointment for me it is also a safety concern as the battery could explode.

Fast forward September 2024 the battery has started swelling aging and this is the second time. I took it in to the iStore in Cresta and I was told that the battery is a third party battery. I've asked when I sent the phone at the store pre owned for repairs on the battery last year November I asked is it an original iPhone battery and they assured me that it is just to go to a different iStore to find out its was a third-party battery
