Unfair pricing and **************

My name is Tumi Phillips, I would like to express my disappointment with the service I got from roots in festival Mall 11/08/2024 13:02 I am a regular customer in the store so I went In the store to buy flour and sugar which on the aile the flour displayed the 5kg snowflake for the price of R59.99 which I took two of them to my surprise when I get to the till the flour rang R89.99 each I explained to the till operator (Siphiwe)that where the flour is displayed the price is R59.99 she then called her Till point supervisor (Dimakatso) with no name badge on, the Till operator explained that the flour is not ringing the same price as I the customer saw it, we then went to the aile to confirm the price. But when we got there the supervisor said to me that the name on the display is not the snowflake that I want that there is no stock of the flour which the price is displayed for I then explained to her that since I'm not the one who made that mistake I wanna pay the price I see she continued to escalate the matter to her manager ( Mathapelo) who did not even come to us she gave the directions over the phone to the supervisor that we can't buy it for the price we want cause it will cause a discrepancy on their side, The manager also asked the supervisor of the difference that they will loose if i buy it for the price i saw then the supervisor said to her manager that i took two of the flours so the difference is R60 that's when the manager said that I should but it for the price it rings for or I should leave it it's up to me but they won't sell it to me for the price I saw. According to the consumer rights no.1 Your right to fair pricing of goods and services. Suppliers are not permitted to charge unfair prices for the same goods and services. And in this matter the store was not being fair on their pricing as they refused for me to pay for the price I saw.
