I am a regular customer @ roots butchery that is based in Witbank klipfontein.I became a regular customer @ this shop sometime last year till to date.Today the 23 of May 2023 around 15hrs, i visited the site to buy my groceries as usual.At the till while the lady a(cashier)was busy scanning my items that i assume it was going to cost @ least R2500.00,i noticed that 1 out of 10 loafs of bread i bought is badly damaged.I then inform the lady immediately that the bread is damaged i need to replace it.She highly refused and accused me of damaging the bread.She was shouting at me and disrespecting me like nobody's business.I have never in my life experience such a stinky behavior being displayed to me like that since i was born,more especially at a customer point of view.She told me how stupid i am that i put heavy stuff on top of the bread that i must buy it or else i leave the premises.I then turn to look for help from the senior personnel,the reaction of the other staff members was biased,like i was not supposed to ask assistance.The shop is so convenience for me as i amnstaying around Tasbert in Emalahleni.I,my family and my close friends will never visit Roots butchery everywhere in South Africa aslong as i am still alive.I cannot and suffer the embarrassment i experienced today.
