Caretaker Lady is horrible after a while!

Loved the rooms. Rustic and adorable. All you need at a backpackers on a farm when you are having a great party with a group of friends and enjoying the Sunday Show at back to the Roots. But........

The caretaker girl Chane is a horrible host. She is definitely not good for the business. Unprofessional. Other guest who arrived the next day was checked into rooms as it was left by the previous occupants because she did not do her job.

We made a booking on Wed 25 Nov for the Sat 28 Nov. (Confirmed on booking.com and to check in at 14:00). We got there at around 15:00 with the rest of the group. Only to find out there is no booking for me. Luckily my friend was alone in the end room for 3 people and slept with her. So we paid twice for that room. She only send a message via Booking.com on the 28th at 15:45 when she saw us arrive. Her message was "No rooms available will do a refund we have a problem with the electricity. " Still no refund..... Apparently "someone" did not close the rooms off as booked or something. Most probably her. She then came to speak to us as if she is doing us a favour. Not even an apology. Unprofessional. There are only 8 rooms and it is a backpackers, how difficult can it be? She is to busy to mingle with guest with a "cute" attitude only to later find out Godzilla has arrived.

She fights with guests and have a macho attitude (better than the rest). Shouts and screams at guest who meant no harm. Drinks way to much and tell guests she can beat them all at drinking. Brandewyn het nie brieke met die girl nie. She left a bad sour taste with all of our friends. We were a group of about 12.

Dozi was amazing. Humble and welcoming. Pity I did not get a chance to tell him what she is up to.
