Poor plumbing and comminication

A Saturday a few weeks ago I could not tuen my shower tap off. I tried my normal plumber but they were unavailable. I went onto the roto rooter website to arrange a call out and a number popped up which I clicked on. They arrived later that day. They had evaluated the problem and went to get parts only for them to call me to say that my taps are old and they cannot get the parts to replace the taps. They would need to replace the piping to put in new taps. They chipped away tiles to replace the piping and fittings to fit new taps. Cost me quite a bit. Because of cementing I was not allowed to use the shower. I left it fir a week, cleaned the shower and then very little water came out. On contacting them it was "probably blockages in the piping" and they will come fix it. Arrangements made but then just excuse after excuse. They are coming then not. Car problems. No communication. Promises but nothing. 5 weeks later I am still sitting with a non functional shower. It appears I am going to have to get another person out at my expense to fix the problem. Was a large amount to start with as it was after hours. I am still not convinced all the work they did needed to be done.
