Dishonest service by Rooster Coop & Deli (Villieria)

I ordered chicken meat from their price list on Tuesday 7/12/2021 and was told my order will be packed and ready for collection by Friday 10/12/2021. My wife collect and paid for the goods, when I later looked at the invoice my goods were priced at nearly R 200.00 more than indicated on the original pricelist. On inquiring about the price I was told that prices have increased dramatically. What puzzles me is why was I not informed about these dramatic increases when I ordered or when they packed my goods, surely I must be able to have a choice as to the payment amount if it differs from the pricelist. I want to know why this increase was passed onto the consumer without him being told. I will not support this company again as it would seem that honesty is not one of their strong points. They can thus increase the prices as they see fit and the consumer must suffer the consequences.
