Sold dirty and coachroche infested accomodation @Limpopo Lodge

Me and my Friends booked accomodatio at Limpopo Lodge via Rooms for Africa.

Upon Check-In, we were met by a gentleman called Ruan, who was highly intoxicated. Who seemingly at that time looked like he was not expecting any guests and don’t know who we were. The reception looked awful, dirty and unwelcoming.

We remain polite with Ruan, requested him to show us the rooms we booked and paid deposit of R500 for it, the room were certainly old, dirty and un-desirably, with broken cupboards without doors and dirty pillows inside the wide open cupboard, ****roaches everywhere, in the kitchen , the pots were filthy and we were extremely disappointed at that point. We requested to view the next room which was supposed to be a three sleeper but Ruan had used the key that could not open the door.

The room itself seemed to have been perhaps unused for quite some time; there was a constant smell of cigarettes in a sense that no one could be able to sleep comfortably in that room. The bed linen was also dirty(Health hazard).

We complained and Ruan could not seem to understand what we complaining about about as to him the room looked fine. At that point we then decided we are not going to make use of their place and requested a refund. Ruan told us that Rooms for Africa will only pay him transfer payment to him on Monday 19Dec, he currently does not have our deposit.

We requested a refund of our Deposit and now the two establishments ( Rooms for Africa and Limpopo are hidding behind their company policies) and refusing to refund the full amount back. Out of the R500-00 deposited amount to( Rooms of Africa) only refunded , R171.00. This is not satisfactorly as we were mislead and this Establishment is now refusing to pay the balance of R329-00, claiming we must get it from Limpopo Lodge , who seems not to care about our complained from the very same day we went there and up until now, Limpopo Lodge is not responding to any our calls and emails. The only time they responded this morning and said he does not have our money, we need to speak to Rooms for Africa.

We want our refund, it does not matter whether its a small amount to bother with but its our hard earned cash. This is only fair for Rooms of Africa to refund all the monie as the deposit was paid onto their account and its a good business conduct.

We sent several emails and no one is prepared to refund all our money despite the photos we sent them to substanciate our claim.

WE WANT ALL OUR REFUND BACK
