Kept in captivity
This hospital deserves no praise. I was "institutionalised" years ago & about 2 weeks ago I was released from hell on earth - Summit Clinic.
I complained about numerous aspects wrt Dr Lehlonya to management & the owner of Summit - this was covered up and never got addressed. The hospital overcharges patients, does not listen to clients, overfeeds them, wastes food and wants to keep patients medicated, wanting us to believe that we are mentally unstable/ill - I never was & never will be. I was merely there due to stress, but ended up more stressed, tired & sick there. I was at the hospital for 4 weeks, wearing the same clothing, as I was not allowed freedom of movement. Other patients were allowed in & out without a "security guard". When I demanded not to get an injection, I was threatened to be thrown in a state hospital - this was not the first time. The doctors are arrogant, think they are superior & are intimidated by someone more knowledgeable than them. Due to medication, I slipped off the bed, sprained my wrist & I slipped and fell in the bathroom. My entire right side is injured & I have to sleep on the floor & go to the beach to get rid of the pain. I can't even drive far without taking a break due to pressure & pain in my right foot. The medication prescribed is DANGEROUS & causes more harm than good (causes blindness, lameness, night fevers, rashes, etc.). I am living proof that any mental institution is a place of captivity for a normal functional citizen. I am thinner, stronger & healthier without any medication. Life, natural meds & fresh air is all you need to be healthy.
