Bad service

So, this is how Rondebosch Medical Centre treats their patient. First, they release an elderly patient from hospital with the IV line still in and with no underwear. Then, when the daughter contacts the hospital, she is asked bring the patient back to hospital to have the IV line removed. Eventually, they send a nurse who arrive without any sanitizer and asks to lend sanitizer. RMC claimed to have done an investigation and found the reason to be misunderstanding, lol. The second time this elderly patient is once again admitted to Rondebosch Medical center, RMC, and is released. This time she is sent home with a RMC pillow slip and linen protector as a pad. I IMMEDIATELY phoned the hospital and even the receptionist who answered the phone was disgusted that my mom was sent home like this .The daughter and l then decide to return the soiled pillow case to the hospital. While waiting on the Matron, there is a shift change. In the 40 minutes standing in the reception, only 8 nurses entered the hospital and sanitized. This, while many entered not even wearing a mask. I raised this and the matron claimed she will deal with the nurses after the fact, this while l was showing her more nurses entering without sanitizing or wearing masks. My wife then sends an email to the hospital manager, Lynn Moonsamy, highlighting the problems of the pillow case and Covid-19 noncompliance. They promised to investigate. This was the outcome of the investogation. The patients asked for the pillow case and linen saver because she did not have any pads. What a crock of ******* as in her bag on arrival at home were several pads. They just had to check in her bag and give it to her.Rondebosch Medical center, please lie your way out of this one. While we are at you explaining this away, also explain why ppl cannot visit their family while in RMC while nurses and management simply ignore Covid-19 regulations. #capetalk and #departmentofhealth please deal with this.
