**** guarantee period shown on invoice
They sell inverters giving 12month guarantee. The battery lasted only a few months. On asking them to replace the battery they say no the battery guarantee expired after 6 months. The invoice clearly showed 12 month guarantee on the full product.

We would firstly like to make it clear that we do indeed honor the full manufacturers warranties on products and believe the claim you make here is unfair. The product page of this specific item clearly states that the battery that is included with this inverter carries a 6-month warranty and ONLY the inverter carries a 12-month warranty. Claiming that the invoice states the “full product” carries a “12-month guarantee” is thus false. The information regarding the warranty period of the battery was clearly visible to you on the product page from which you proceeded to purchase the unit.
We did attempt to resolve your matter amicably and explain to you that a gel battery unfortunately only has a limited number of cycles and a limited lifespan after which it will slowly degrade and not hold the same charge it used to, however as our agent Nikita was talking to you over the phone, you decided threaten to call your lawyer as you were not happy with this information and proceeded to hang up the call.
As your order was paid on the 26th of September 2022 and delivered to you on the 27th of September 2022, we also feel that your claim that “the battery lasted only a few months” is neglecting the fact that your product was used for just under 9 months with constant stage 6 loadshedding. A gel battery is unfortunately not designed to continue to perform at 100% under such circumstances. This however is not a defect of the product but rather a normal degradation as the battery nears the end of its lifecycle. Nevertheless, we attempted to assist you but you refused the assistance we were willing to provide.
It is unfortunate that we could not assist you further or cave in to the unrealistic and unfair demands you made.
