Unfortunately, our experience with Rome Roofing was an incredible waste of time due to unacceptable delays. We contacted them regarding an urgent roofing issue and specifically met with Gedeon on a Monday afternoon, clearly explaining that we were traveling overseas in ten days. Gedeon promised to have a quote to us by Friday of the same week, which was a reasonable timeframe. On Thursday, I reminded him of the quote and mentioned our departure was now just a week away. However, Friday, the weekend, and Monday all passed without any feedback. By Tuesday—just two days before our flight—we finally received a quote, but the work could no longer be accommodated within our remaining time frame. Having workers on the roof the day before traveling overseas is the last thing anyone needs. The correct course of action for Rome Roofing would have been to be upfront and honest from the beginning, letting us know straight away if they were unable or unwilling to handle a time-sensitive job, rather than leaving us waiting until the very last moment.
