you get mushrooms even if you say "no mushrooms" - and I must pay for it !

I am usually very very happy with my Roman's pizza and service, but Monday evening I ordered from Roman's in 4th Avenue, Newton Park - and i didn't get what I ordered.

When I went back the next day (because I live far away from here, and didn't go back same night when I realised the order was wrong)... I was told that that is the special, and it's basically too bad. They can't help me.

So I paid for a pizza that I didn't want. I am so horrified. In these difficult times... i do this "luxury" once a month, and now I had to pay for a pizza for my son, and i had to throw the pizza away as he couldn't eat it.

When you say "margherita", and they say the mushroom one.. and you say "not the mushroom one, just a margherita"... i'd expect to get a plain margherita... so I had a very unhappy child at home who ONLY eats the plain Margherita. despite me trying to pick off the mushrooms.. he didn't like it as it still tasted like mushrooms.

I paid R140 for one pizza. Am so upset, but got little joy or help when i went back the next day... was just told , sorry that's what it says on the special. But surely, a customer has the right to ask for ingredients NOT to be added, and that's exactly what i asked for ... "no mushrooms". Well, mushrooms is what I got. and I had to pay for it too. Sadly unhappy. Will be making pizzas at home now rather.
