Staff trained to give bad service

Its is shocking to know some owners(not managers) have bad attitude towards business(as in clients)

Tuesday evenning after work my colleque and i decided to go get 2 large Pizzas. I chose romans because it has the best sweet chillie chicken and he agreed because he loves Romans's BBQ chicken and pineapple.

So we got to Sunnyside(the nearest), asked for 2 large Pizzas in 2 different boxes for 2 different households. The cashier said it with bad attitude that "we dont do seperate boxes". Well we told her that may be the case but this is a special request. She refused still.

Looking inside the restuarant i saw the owner's cellphone numbers posted on the wall. Hannes. Gave him a call to make a special request. We were about to spend R174.00. On pizza and he gave us a lame reason to say no we cant get seperate boxes, because its not how they do it. Its impossible. The owner said so.

Did not bother to try understand why we wanted seperate boxes or suggest any other options. Just didnt care and gave me that cold shoulder. Feeling unvalued and unappreciated i asked the cashier to cancel transaction and i will go to Debonairres.

My colleque and i decided we rather go to the Romans in Arcadia becauese of the pizzas we wanted. Got to Arcadia BOOM MAGICALLY they have seperate boxes. We told them about Sunnyside and they laughed saying its always the case.

The owner of the one in Arcadia is Kostas. That man even though i have never met or spoken to him knows how to run a business. We were welcomed by a guy at the door selling R20 pizzas and when we requested 2 seperated boxes there was not even a second of pause to think or anything we were given 2 seperate boxes.

I still dont understand how Romans Sunnyside expected me to buy 2 large pizzas in one box go to my house take out one then give my collegue the box. Absolutely rediculous and worse when the owner himself has bad attitude about patrons. Worst Romans ever and will surely never ever hear from me or anyone i know
