Shocking Food Quality and Treatment

I recently posted on Romans Sunridge Facebook page and to date I have not had a single reply or apology for the illness Romans food caused and the subsequent disrespect shown by an Afrikaans woman who I believe to be the owner, and the customer service representative.

We ordered Pizza (4 Large Pizza's) from Roman's Sunridge Port Elizabeth where the Pizza we order caused incredible illness in the four of us who ate the pizza.

This concern was communicated with the Roman's Customer Service line. The representative phoned me back and proceeded to tell me that if I had not had blood tests then the claims could not be substantiated. It is almost like they are trying to take me for a fool....you need to keep in mind that there were 4 people that got sick from the same Pizza. I found this comment by head office very irresponsible.

I then got a call from the "owner" of Sunridge Roman's who was very abrupt and almost condescending. She again told me that if I had not had blood tests that nothing could be confirmed. Furthermore she told me that she called all the take away customers and every single one of them was happy with the food. At the end of the conversation I felt disregarded and in-considered as I had a valid complaint. My partner then called and the "owner" proceeded to tell him that she had witnessed the emails between head office and myself and she was not prepared to entertain it.

I regret to inform you "owner", that you are obliged to "entertain" this as that is your business as someone involved in service. Furthermore your disrespectful comments about blood tests, which I am sure you just hopped on the band wagon from head office, hold no water.

What exactly can you determine from blood tests? The only thing you can determine is if there is a bacteria in your system which the body is trying to fight with elevated white blood cell count....this is no more specific than going to the doctor which I did and was diagnosed and medicated accordingly. I expect an apology for the way this has been handled.

Furthermore, I am a breastfeeding mother to an infant and I have now had to stop breast feeding due to the medication I am taking as a result of YOUR food. This will adversely affect the development and immune system of my child.

MY ADVICE TO ALL READING THIS: Be very careful about the quality of the food received from Roman's, and furthermore, if at all possible avoid Roman's Sunridge Port Elizabeth..the "owner" is inconsiderate, condescending, and doesn't seem to want to assist with a complaint, she has a mightier than thou attitude and is "not prepared to entertain this"

Of course there is my opinion mixed with fact in my review.

I will NEVER eat from Romans Pizza as a result of the attitude of the "owner" and her unwillingness to resolve a viable complaint amicably.

Furthermore I will ask all my friends to boycott Romans as a result of my experience.
