Romans - what a ******* !!
I phone Romans to order a single pizza and was told i can't order a small single, i must take a box with 2. I eventually agreed thinking i was going to get 2 small pizzas. Besides the delivery address that was taken down wrong, i was horrified when a huge box with 2 large pizza's arrived. I am 1 person who can hardly manage a small single pizza and i get this. I asked the delivery guy why did i get large if i asked for small & was told they only make Large pizza's. I would not have placed an order if i knew this beforehand & was probably deliberately NOT told that when i phoned, in case i cancel. I live 800m from Romans Florida Glen's front door & i was charged R40 for delivery !!!? (Romans delivery, not Uber Eats or Mr D.) Is this Romans' sneaky tactics to make up for losses during lockdown ? I literally paid R169 for 3 slices of pizza. In my opinion this is *****ing ! I will not order from you again, you can keep your expensive pizza service. I stepped into your trap and you now lost a loyal customer for good. Because of you I will also not order ANYTHING from any other fast food outlet during lockdown either because they will probably do the exactly the same

The delivery fee that is charged is a set fee, charged per delivery within the 7km delivery radius, it's not calculated per kilometre. During Level 4 Lockdown, delivery fees generated by Roman’s Pizza Delivery will go straight to the fearless delivery drivers who are risking it all to get our customers’ favourite pizza to their front door. We also do this in our effort that this allows for employment to be created within the communities in which we operate in, and families who would have struggled might have a better chance to be able to make it through this unprecedented challenge.
