Order change?

I ordered on a food app and ordered an incorrect pizza by mistake, called the store a few minutes after seeing my mistake and was told they cannot change the one pizza. I totally understand if the pizza was ready made but I though pizzas were made to go and i'm extremely disappointed as it is money down the drain as my kids don't like the barbeque sauce on this particular pizza and won't eat it:(
