I broke my ankle at RollEgoli 296 Main Rd, Bryanston, Sandton, 2191 and my experience was shocking from start to finish. There were no trained first aiders, no ambulance or emergency plan, not even a wheelchair or ramp to help me move after the injury. The staff gave me nothing more than an ice cup and told me to arrange my own transport.

The management was completely unhelpful and showed no concern for my condition. For an activity where injuries are so foreseeable, their lack of preparation and care is beyond negligent.

To make matters worse, no waiver was signed — only a “skate at your own risk” disclaimer was displayed. That is not an excuse for failing to comply with basic health and safety obligations.

I have since reported this to a Health & Safety Inspector because the conditions and attitude of management are unacceptable and dangerous.

Please stay away from this place until they take safety, dignity, and accountability seriously.
