*********, Dishonest! Misrepresentation of Product!!

<p>On 24 September 2016 we bought a Polo Bluemotion from Rola Ford in Robertson Western Cape.</p> <p>The Sales agent assisting us was Ruan Bester. When we arrived at the dealer (driving from Cape Town), we inspected the car and noted that the car's service books and manuals were not there. We asked Ruan about this and he asked if we could wait a bit as its somewhere in the office. The car was advisertised as FSH.</p> <p>After completing our inspections Ruan said that he will deliver the service books along with the licence plates that he must deliver to us during the week. He told us not to worry.We also noticed some damages on the front grill, and this was also promised to be resolved later this week.</p> <p>Since this was such a reputed dealer, Rola Ford, we took his word and accepted the car under the above conditions. It’s now 12/10/1026, and all we received is number plates.</p> <p>After following up, Ruan emailed us on 1/10/2016 to say that the service books are in the cabio of the vehicle. We checked and it wasn’t there. We also repeatedly followed regarding the gril, and he told us that he is looking for better prices , and they are waiting on head office approval. Strangely enough, before we bought the car there were scratched on the car, and minor mechanical work required. Once we confirmed our intent to buy the car (signed OTP), the scratches were removed and mechanical issued resolved within 2 days. Why after the car has been sold does the process take this long???</p> <p>After more follow ups he told us that he has the service books in his possession, and said we will get this at the VW dealer where the grill will be installed. I started to get concerned, and insisted that l will drive to Robertson to collect the service books from him this Saturday. After I insisted, Ruan emailed saying that there are no service books for the car, as they never got the car with service books and manuals!!!!!</p> <p>I told him that if we knew this, we would’ve never taken the car!!! But we trusted him since he is representing Rola!!!! This is a misrepresentation of product!!!!!! This is dishonest and *********!!!</p> <p><strong>To top it off, when I called VW Master Cars in Kuilsriver today, they told me that a new service book is R12, and a new manual is R400!!!! This took me 5 minutes!! Now how must we trust the word and service of this branch!!!!</strong></p>
