Shocking service, dishonest about the quality of their vehicles and even worse after sales service. Emile is the manage of the used vehicles department and I highly suggest you avoid dealing with this crowd. Take your hard earned money somewhere else.

This review is directed at the Rola Haval dealership in Stellenbosch.

Absolutely shocking experience from start to finish. I wouldn’t recommend this dealership to my worst enemy. • They were dishonest about existing damage to the vehicle at the time of purchase and upon finding the damage they refused to remedy it. • They made verbal and written agreements that they later refused to honour, showing zero accountability. • Once the sale was done, their after-sales support disappeared—any attempts to get help were ignored or brushed off. • The sales agent became aggressive and even threatened me with physical harm when I pushed for answers. Completely unacceptable and unprofessional behavior. • The used car manager, Emile, was particularly unhelpful, dismissive, and made it clear that customer service is not a priority at this dealership. • The quality of the car is appalling—within a few months, the number plate literally fell off, and more issues are showing up daily. • The battery had to be replaced after 2 months as it was faulty. • The general attitude from staff is arrogant and defensive, as if they’re doing you a favour by acknowledging basic concerns.

This place is the definition of buyer beware. If you’re reading this, do yourself a favour: take your business somewhere else. I’ve reported them to the relevant consumer protection bodies and will continue to share my experience to warn others.
