Rola Group Toyota Somerset West

I purchased a Land Cruiser which had just had its 20000km service done at Toyota Somerset West. On a trip to Namibia, a rumbling vibration started and eventually it turned out to be the rear Universal Joint on the Propshaft was so badly worn as it was not greased , that this had to be removed to be repaired by CBS in Springbok. When presenting the failure to the Service manager at Toyota , I was told that the Job card showed that the greasing was done, but according to CBS and the inspection of the joints, it was clear that the greasing was definitely not done. The result was that Rola Toyota Somerset west agreed to pay half the repair cost as a show of the repair as goodwill. Not as acknowledgment to the fact that the service had not been done properly . No apology either. Needless to say, I will NOT have my vehicle serviced there again
