not what i expected - AT ALL!!!!!

When i signed up my cats on Rogz Pet insuarnce i was confident that they would be covered for most evenualities - the very reason we take out insurnce after all.

However, my one cat has just undergone a very traumatic operation to remove most of his teeth, which is definitely not something that you plan for or expect in a cat only 18 months old. Following the glowing sales pitch when looking for the pet insurance i chose Rogz. I was confident that i had chosen the right cover for the cats only to find out following the operation that they do not cover the proceedure which cost over R5000! What really annoys me is that there is nothing about this is mentioned on the Website under exclusions and it is only when you read the policy document in the second set of exclusiong that you find a long list of exclusions that they are NOT up front about.

This is really disgusting and dishonest and the experience has left a really bad taste in my mouth. I am currently reviewing other pet medical aids - all of which i have asked if they would have covered this proceedure and they confirmed it WOULD HAVE BEEN COVERED.

if you are considering ROGZ for your pet insurance - DON'T!!

This is underwritten by Hollard and i expected that having a what i thought was reputable company would give me peace of mind... WRONG!

I wrote an email to Rogz to express my disbelief, shock and horror at the fact that there would be no refund for what is a very expensive and unexpected event. I have had NO response.
