Worst service and food

I was at the store on the 20th of February and what a mess it was , my day was ruined to the core, the food and the service was the worst. I will take you through my horrible experience, when we got there we were welcomed by a pretty lady who sat us down and did her part of asking what we would like to order , we ordered the triple threat special, our food arrived at a reasonable time , the wings were so good I loved it , then the burgers came … that’s when everything went wrong , firstly the beef patties tasted like rubber no seasoning at all , the rolls of the burger were off , I tried to pour my ranch sauce left from the wings dip just to add some flavours , none of that worked I just continued with my meal with a heavy heart and frustrated because this was my 2nd time this week at rocomamas and with the previous store I was blown away with all things perfect Fast forward …my waffle came …it wasnt cooked well the dour was wet , I told my waitress what the problem was , she left with the waffle and that was the last time I saw her as now I was being served by someone else after my complaint about the waffle, in all this happening there is no manager coming to check on us or atleast acknowledge the waffle mess coz I was also gonna tell him of the off patties and rolls , the 2nd waffle came and I noticed my previous waitress was now the one by the bar section ..not sure if she is the one who made the 2nd horrible waffle , the 2nd waffle was burnt and the bottom part so crispy I really had to knock that knife though it , at that point I was just over it I had 2 bites and then left it like that , the waiter came and asked if he could clear the table I said yes , he didn’t even realise that I hardly touched my waffle and didn’t care to ask if it was all good , we asked him if we could swap the waffle to milkshake for the 2nd order he said no it’s not possible and the reason we asked is because the waffles that I had received already were not up to rocomamas standards , My 2 cents option is that the waiters and waitresses should have proper training from upselling their products and to notice every details to your customers, I understand the triple threat is a special combo but try to upsell to me try to convince me to add other toppings , rocomamas is all about trying new stuff and exploring your options , if the waitress decided to do something while serving us she should have let us know , oh and again we didn’t even get to know both their names they never introduced themselves to us , The manger should also know that his job is not only to be telling the guys in the kitchen to stay away from their phones as he was doing but to also check on customers , and mind you the shop was not busy at all. I believe all rocomamas have Wi-Fi but none of that was offfered to us and I’m saying this because a few days I was by the rocomamas just down the road from this one and the waitress saw that I was on my phone and came to offer wifi and I was really impressed by that coz she was very attentive and paid attention to details regardless that she had 4 more tables that she was attending Please note my complaint is not about me wanting free food but to help you guys to fix these kind of things , Change of behaviour is really needed , this was definitely not the kind of rocomamas vibe I know , I hope next time I decide to pop in things will be much better This rocomamas is in Randburg it’s called ‘Rocomamas Canterbury
