What a disappointment.
<p>On the 13th of July 2017, we decided to go to Rocomamas in Westville for dinner on my birthday. We have previously heard from some people that this is a great place to go and have a hamburger. So we went with high expectations, we learnt that you had to.order eveything individually and not as a meal. So the six of us wrote our orders on the provided menus. While we were waiting for our food, a large ****roach (about 2 inches) ran across the floor behind our table towards the kitchen area, the one manager inconspicuously tried to kick it away but missed, the ****roach disappeared under the kitchen counter, the manager then went and stood in a corner watching the area where it disappeared into. I pointed this out to my son-in-law, who acknowledged that he also saw the ****roach. But this was not the worst part of our experience. When we saw the prices on the menu, we thought that we will get food that is really worth it. Massive was our disappointment when our 'mini' burgers eventually arrived. We all expected to get something better than what you would get at Steers, Spur or McDonald's, but the burgers were really pathetic, the patties were dry, and where I previously thought that McDonald's patties were like cardboard, I would actually retract that statement, these patties were much worse than the McDonalds patties. As for the size of the burger - the regular Spur burger is massive in comparison. The bottom part of my burger's bun was toasted so flat that it would provide good competition for a 'Marie biscuit' in thickness. The chips where like thin pieces of rubber, only the pieces that were almost burnt black were crispy. </p> <p>This must be the worst eating-out experience that I have ever had, and I have had a few but none of the previous one prompted me to submit a complaint about it. After we had left I asked the other people who were with me what they thought and it was a general consensus that everyone felt that it was terrible. </p> <p>The only positive thing that we can say about our experience, was that the waiter was frienly. Everything else about the experience I would rate as 1 out of 10.</p> <p>Never again, and would really not recommend anyone even attemping to go and eat there.</p>
