Terrible hygiene and customer service

31 March, we decide to stop at Rocomamas Horizon View. This has been the worst experience I have had in a long time.

1. Hand hygiene Saw the manager Thando, with blue gloves on... scratching his face touching a foid surfacide the going to his cellphone. This was fine at the back of the counter. Then to top this he presents himself to the waiters in the front shop... touching the table. All this happened whilest we were waiting for our food to be prepared. Not once did he sanitise his gloves in between. According to me this is not how a manger should lead.

One of the othe other staff members carries a bin lid. Not sanitising his gloves after that... carried on getting a cutting board and doing food preparation.

2. Food arrives. Bacon was cooked on a burnt burner that was not cleaned properly. Had that tiny black pieces stuck to it.

Ordered some chilli cheese boms. They are suppose to be golden brown in colour from deep frying. Ours arrived almost charrred. Could taste the burnt in them.

3. Removing of dishes.

I was still taking a bite of chips when the plates were removed and whilest i was clearly chewing... was asked if they could remove it. Standing with the dishes in her hands.

4. Waiters sitting Then i should have a decent meal where all the waiters are seated and watching how you eat? That was not very conducive. It felt like they wanted us out. Oyr business is not important enough.

I believe from other branches i have visited that this is not the standard. But Horizon view Ricomamas and the Manager Thando... they need to be taught again or something.

I have spoken to my friends on the West Rand... this store has a BAD reputation.

Apaulling and disgusted and extremely dissapointed.
