Poor service, wrong orders

I don’t know why I did it. A moment of madness, boredom at the lack of vegan options in SA…could be anything. But I ordered from Rocomama’s via the MrD app and, predictably, I regretted it. This is the second time Rocomama’s has violated my culinary ethics. The first time was a while back when, as a vegetarian, they sent me a meat burger instead of veggie. I usually always check but that one time I didn’t I got a mouthful of disgusting beef. But, ok. Mistakes happen and they replaced the burger. This time there is no one to hold accountable because it was delivered. I ordered the Old Skool burger because it’s described as smash patty, tomato and red onion. No mention of sauces which is just as well because I’m now vegan and their other burgers have cheese and mayo which I cannot eat. Burger’s delivered with fries. I eat the fries and move onto the burger only to find that they added MAYO to the damn thing, even though, just to be safe, I added under the food exclusions option ok the MrD app “NO DAIRY NO MAYO”. I cannot and will not eat dairy because I’m a vegan for ethical reasons. They are so USELESS at the Glen branch and will never receive my business again. Waste of money, considering they’re one of the most expensive takeaway places (basic Old Skool burger is R60-something and a large fries is R60-something as well. I’m disgusted.
