First visit to Rocomamas - NEVER to return

<p>Good Morning</p> <p> </p> <p>It was my wife's birthday yesterday, and I wanted to take her out to dinner. As most people have told me before to try Rocomamas, I thought lets give it a try.</p> <p>Firstly, I tried to make a reservation, then I'm told no reservations can be made, it is based on a first come first served basis. Why is it, that my American colleague can make reservations at the Rocomamas in Rosebank? We drove through to Irene from JHB. Meeting up with family. Upon arrival of course we weren't the first there, so the only tables available was indoors. </p> <p>Then it came to ordering of drinks, not all the draught beers, or craft beers shown on the menu is available on tap. Why have them on the menu?</p> <p>Eventually the time came when a table became available outside, and we were moved. </p> <p>When our meals arrived, the burgers looked like bonzai burgers. (And I ordered the Wild Bill - Supposed to be a big burger???) with what seemed like a ton of under cooked chips. (All of us at the table ordered the medium chips. )</p> <p>Then when we got to dessert, we were told no Dom Pedros are served.</p> <p>Our waiter Norbert was probably the only reason I didn't leave. He was professional, and courteous definitely a credit to your organization.</p> <p>I am so disappointed in roco mamas after all the hype everyone has made about this place. There are so many different Burger restaurants out there now, Ed's Diner, Burger Bistro etc. </p> <p>Can I make some recommendations. </p> <p>1. Your Chili Con Carne is not hot at all, then just name is Con Carne.</p> <p>2. Increase your burger sizes</p> <p>3. Ask the clients how they prefer their patty to be cooked: medium-rare, well done etc.</p> <p> </p> <p>I do not wish to return to any of your establishments, Please do not contact me.</p>
