Disgusting Ribs

I have been to most of the franchise within KZN, and I was utterly disappointed with the food , the quality and the overall experience at Roccomamas in Pavillion. The food is just not sub standard it is terrrible and unhealthy for any persons to consume. I was there on Sun 13/11 , just decided once the shopping was done to have something light since it was around 3pm, my son who is 10 ordered a half portion of ribs and i added on cheesy chips with milkshake and cool drinks. Upon the arrival of the ribs it was cold , that when my hubby decided to cut into it you could see the fat. We called the waitress and told her it is cold she took it back to the kitchen to sort out. We decided its easier to cut the pieces of the meat out for my son to eat only to cut of more fatty pieces - i was disgusted to think that I paid R176 for fat. We requested for the Manager who was busy seating other muslim clients and attending to picks up and then came to us.

At this point I was upset as I am a paying customer to. Dont send me the Ops manager ....it made no sense, with that been said i waited for her, she explained that it is a supplier problem but surely the food gets looked at before preparation, I would like to ask the question would they serve that to their families or other muslim patrons.

That is a really what we have to deal with in KZN. I have been to Gway, Florida Rd, Cornubia, Galleria and never have we experienced such bad quality in food.

Perhaps they should focus on serving Pork as clearly the halaal standards are not up to standard. I dont want anything free , I enjoy my fine dinning experience ....both locally and abroad, Provide the service and quality as the other branches do.

Let them know how they ratings are compared to the same in other areas.
