Disappointed

On Saturday 8th February, myself and my partner went to rocomamas Rosebank. We from the menu we chose x2 jangonfix burgers. It looked really nice but during our meal there was a weird taste in the meal. On my partners , she asked that they take out the jalapeño which they did but we noticed that the chicken was soaked in a vinegar tasting sauce... I then looked into my burger and saw a yellow sauce on it. We called the waiter over and asked him what this is because it tastes strange and kind of like mustard which it doesn’t state on the menu. He proceeded to the kitchen and came back saying that there is mustard on the burgers , he also stated that the chefs came from training but all of them has their own way of making the burgers!!! We were shocked because my partner cannot eat mustard and simply because this was not on the ingredients for this burger at all. The waiter kept apologising but we said that’s not the point! The same evening, myself and my partner ended up being so ill With symptoms of having food poisoning because of this meal. I myself have been in bed and running back and forth to the bathroom all day and her the same. We do not understand why the chefs would put ingredients In the meals that’s not stated on the menu. We are really disgusted and disappointed by the because we actually looked forward to having this meal. We do not want vouchers or anything free because that’s not the point! We are both suffering since Saturday and this isn’t good!! Your staff should do as instructed in training and not add their own things into meals. Please sort this ASAP as this could have resulted in my partner having to go into hospital because of the allergic reaction! This isn’t right!!
