Didnt want me to have a drink on a quiet night 8:

I work in the airline industry, and our crew loves trying out new spots in different cities we overnight in.<br> <br> I was in Durban tonight, after dinner walked pass The newly opened Rocomamas. <br> <br> It's a Tuesday evening at 8:30pm. The restaurant wasn't even half full.<br> <br> I notice they sell craft beer, and thought let me check this place out, have a drink or 2. Also I could inform the other crew for future nights in Durban as our hotel is right opposite the restaurant.<br> <br> So I get to the entrance and inform the waiters that I would love to have a few drinks. They told me that this is not a bar, but a restaurant. I understand that they are trying to make money by selling food, but I don't get it that they'll turn away a customer? Without even considering that the restaurant is empty and its late already, not that they'll get more clients???<br> <br> I was disgusted actually. This is not even a fine dining restaurant! <br> <br> Anyways, I really looked forward to spending many evenings there with crew, but that's all changed now. I'll certainly spread the word!<br> <br>
