Bad service

My wife and I went to MALL OF AFRICA ROCOMAMAS, on the 26th of December 2023. Ordered a combo of 250g ribs and four wings, cheese, beacon burger, two medium packs of fries, black label and a savanna. We got the food and we started eating, however the ribs had a bad smell and we figured it was because they were badly prepared. We then gave the smell attention.

Basically, we were served with rotten ribs. We called one of the managers to come smell the ribs for us to confirm if they are okay. The manager denied to smell the ribs on base that he is allergic to pork. We asked to come with one of his employees who is not allergic to pork to come smell the ribs. He called someone, the latter came and denied to smell the ribs on claims that their POLICY does not allow them to smell or taste food infront of customers(with bad attitude).

Our(wife and I) question, "does rocomamas policy allow you to serve us with rotten food". We were told to leave our contact number so that rocomamas may call us tomorrow to check if we are fine. So our question was based on our health.

The regional manager was called and he also gave us attitude towards the food that we paid for.
