Bad customer service

On the 27/07/2019 I visited the Rocco Mamas The Glen to have lunch since it was my birthday on the following day, on my arrival I met a humble guy by the name of Delin. He did advise me that the store was full and will check the available sit for 2. As I and my girlfriend were waiting for the sit allocation, I then decided to go out and Delin took my girlfiend's number and promised that he will call and reserve the table for us. Indeed he kept on his promise and called us and we went back to have a lunch, on our arrival he advised that the table has been taken by 1 of his colleagues for other customers, we then asked why were we called back where else the sit would be given away, he then advised that he was told that they cannot for us. In this case, Delin is not a culprit who had done his best by taking the initiative of calling us but his colleague who told him that they cannot wait for us is indeed the 1 that had ruin my day. Now my advise is that if a team does not communicate the customers become affected by this.
