Misrepresentaion of facts
" Audi alteram partem " (;-) Rocksteady was contracted to do the move mentioned by a George person, everything else is twisted. Herewith some facts : The terms and conditons are clear : " 1.Please be advised that a 50 % deposit must be paid in order to secure a booking. 2. Proof thereof must be emailed to the e mail adress provided 3. The full amount must be paid directly after loading, if the full amount is not paid before/on the offload date, the items/goods will be taken to our storage facilities and it will be your responsibility to cover all additional storage and offload costs. Once full payment and additional charges have been received items/goods will be delivered" The money that a certain George said was paid, had not been cleared by 29/04/2024 at 09:26 yet the load was delivered on 27/04/2024 Had the Company owner not stepped in ( and asked for immediate payment )the goods would have been offloaded without payment. Highly debatable but the owner doubt if payment would have been made as the George person threatened legal action even if one item is damaged, this all before the load was delivered. ? Bullying is not cool .so I guess he will be inspecting every item with a fine-tooth comb. I wonder how fair the search for any damages will be? I can just see a lawsuit for old damages in the making. The customer demanded the goods be offloaded - The company stepped in and worked relentlessly through the night to answer the customers demand. The George person threatened with legal action yet the monies did not show yet ? This George person was not present at the move ( all his info is based on hear-say )as he appointed another person , who was so badly intoxicated he fell over and even drove a quad bike into a tree. Yet demanded that items like a double door fridge be hoisted over a balcony ( the building structure being very unstable ) Staff declined the suggestion marking it as unsafe, yet the person insisted on his way. When the staff saw that it was getting late they asked where they could go to buy food and the intoxicated person offered R 200 to the 8 staff members - Not sure what a person can eat for R 25 these days but it is a nice gesture. So a gesture albeit very small in nature to confince or motivate staff to offload is a typical South AFRICAN thing ? But I guess we can learn a lot from our "LEADERS " .Rock Steady Cannot give in or be taken for a ride or be threatened into submission by a Braggarts or anyone else, and receive bad reviews because the customer disagree on something. From a business perpective, hardly any business will provide a service and not get paid. Pay up then "if" there is a reason to complain sure- go ahead. Non-payment nullifies any complaints ! The truck sent to do the job was more than adequate. In fact, a Superlink would have been more cumbersome ! But customers are always right ,right ? Then, no person should get a medal for doing the right thing - but congratulations are in order for payment that was made late anyways Whoo Hoo ! Then, Customers omitting information to get a better price is not a new thing. It backfired ,and he had to pay eventually, for shuttling and hoisting and demanding the truck sleeps in his yard but the staff to sleep outside like beggars ? but deflecting it and making it sound like the transporters fault is a show of bad character ! So all in all 4 households were loaded ( some were stored and some were takin to the new premises and the staff were expected to know what the client wanted in storage and what was supposed to go to the new premises, Will this also be the transporters fault ? So the word Ransom is used, if threatened with legal action, what is that called ? After being threatened the company still delivered with tummies filled with R 25 worth of food and got the job done ! Saying " I " bough food when the " I "was not even there, is that not called lying or is it misrepresentation of facts ? Anyway,Me thinks that misrepresentation is *****. Google defines it : "The crime of ***** always start with a misrepresentation of some sort. A misrepresentation is the deliberate distortion or falsification of the truth. "
