Good day

My name is Mighty and I am writing to Express my dissatisfaction of the sound installed on my Ford fiesta by Acoutic audio on the 14 April 2022.

2 x P1S4-12 ( sealed box)

RF Punch split/ RF co axial

RF 500x1 mono/ RF 300 x4 .

I then complained about the hiss sound from the tweeters, both amps blinking red on the CLEAN IN ( at volume 15/30), "Pop" sound from the speakers when amp switch off. He then explained to me that the sounds are normal, is because of the CANBUSS. Ok"". I never played my radio above volume 15, since I reported to him and an appointment was set to have a look at the system again.

I went back to him on the 14/05/2022 and he tested the fuses, checked the amplifiers with a multimeter and said there is something that he needs to find out from RF technician. To my surprise on the same day, the tweeter on the left hand side started to sound funny and I just took lightly because he told me recordings are not the same. The mono amp was going to protection mode at 22 volume.

On the 16/05/2022, I was driving from joburg to polokwane and I started smelling like something is burning from the left door speaker. I then phoned him immediately and he insists speakers can't burn by itself, ""you played the music at high volume". I told him I was playing the music at volume 15/30 and when he was testing the system, volume 22 was the highest and that's when the mono went to protection mode. I worked so hard to raise funds to finance these components because I believe, they are quality and durable. I can now hear engine noise from the speakers when I accelerate or brake. I disconnected everything from the battery terminal and I am going back to him on Thursday.

I don't trust the installer anymore and I wish if it was possible to get a second opinion from other installers. I dont want to spend anymore money towards fixing this system because I believe the installer did not do his job.

If speakers are damaged, please help me so that he can replace, very sad. I am staying in Polokwane and taking the car to Boksburg for him to check is extra costs. Please call if anything is not clear with the explanation.
