WORST FURNITURE STORE IN SOUTH AFRICA

<p>On the 10th of February I ordered and paid the deposit for a couch, product number 5- ********** , at Rochester Furniture Boksburg. The sales representative was Marius Kooker and I dealt with him from then on. Marius told me that my couch would arrive after 7 weeks of paying the deposit so by the End of March 2017 I should have received it. On the 27th of March, I had to phone Rochester and ask what the problem was. (Only twice out of 5 times did Rochester phone me when they said that they would) Marius told me that there was a problem with the material so it would take another week and a half but he would phone and let me know what was happening. A week and a half goes by and Marius still hadn't phoned me back. I phoned him again on the 19th of April and he told me that he didn't know what was wrong and he would phone me back the next day (which he didn't).He also told me that he would give me a discount for my inconvenience. On the 24th of April I phoned again but Marius wasn't there so they told me he will phone me back which he eventually did. But then he said the couches were coming from Cape Town so it would take another week to get delivered. On the 3rd of May Marius phoned and said the couch will arrive on the 9th of May. He then said again that we would get a discount for our inconvenience. Today on the 8th of May, Marius phoned me and said that the couches have arrived in Boksburg and he needs the full payment in their account first before they can deliver it. Marius went on to say that it is impossible to give me a discount because his manager needs to agree on it (even though he is the manager) but he can give a small in-store credit.</p> <p>As you can see, Rochester has the worst customer service, poor communication and are down-right *****. Never in my life will I ever buy anything from Rochester again.</p> <p> </p> <p><br />P.S. I am still waiting for my couch and my discount 13 weeks later. Still no replies from Rochester.</p>
