What a pathetic service!!!

What a pathetic client service!!!

I walked into your Rochester store in Boksburg and i was assisted by Sipho On the 28th March 2021. He then proceeded to offer me couch cleaning material and delivery which I declined. I then asked if I can pick up the couch today, he responded by saying No, our warehouse does not operate on Sunday. Oh no problem..can I pick it up tomorrow. He said yes you can sir and you can pick up in jetpark at JD supply chain. Eish, fine will do.

Made arrangements to pick up the sofa, got there at 15:35 and had to wait for 10min at the gate before I was told that the warehouse closes at 16:00. I'm like okay we early mos let us in..the security guy refused. I called the sales guy Sipho to assist and advise what to do next he then said the warehouse closes at 15:30, I then told him that had you informed me of the times I would have made earlier arrangements.

At this point all he told me was, nothing I can do for you sir. I was not informed of the time which he also acknowledged on our call and then changed the story later on. I then asked to speak to his manager. What an arrogant and rude individual with lack of knowledge on customer service. No accountability and empathy shown. He was quick to respond and defend the sales guy without facts.

He then argued that his people always tell clients about the collection times at the warehouse and Why did you not take delivery from us? I responded by saying I have a right to use any transportation that will work for me.

He had no solution until he said " Ngeke lento iphele" meaning this won't end. I said yes until I get my couch yes it won't end well. He said fine..the couch will be delivered tomorrow and I said okay...do you have my details he responded by saying Sipho will call you and he hung up. No apology for the misinformation or try to recover the service lapse. Today I waited for a call from Sipho or him. No call received. At 15:08 I called the sales guy asking if my couch will be delivered today still. He said I don't know let me check. No callback whatsoever. Wasted a day waiting for a couch that never arrived.

Pathetic service from Sipho and his manager. I had planned to purchase dining chairs at the store as I liked the design after this bad service I really don't know.

I need this to be addressed urgently as I have visitors for my house warming this Saturday.
