Waiting for refund over a month now

I bought a couch first week of April at Rochester Festival Mall and unfortunately it did not fit into my lounge, so I then contacted the store immediately of which was told to return it. I completed the refund papers and submitted all the requested information in order to get my money back and sadly after over a full month, my refund is not done. I have been going to the store now all the time and each time, I 'm told you they do not have power and unable to assist me. I called the head office for assistance and gave them the portal number given to me by the store and was told that the portal number I have is incorrect and the lady just dropped the phone in my ear. I am very unhappy because I am desperate for my money back and it seems like I am not being taken seriously.
