Undelivered furniture (cash paid up)

Hi I bought a couch at Rochester at ferndale republic (paid up) and I received a sms said they will deliver on the 7th may, nothing happened no update and the delivery people came on the 8th Which they wanted me to carry the couch to floor 5 to my apartment since it doesn’t fit on the lift then refused, they then took the couch back, Im devastated I need your help on this
