Suddenly no stock of furniture after purchace

On Sunday, 25 January 2015 we purchased 2 exotic leather lounge couches and 2 Sienna fabric chairs from Witbank Rochester's for R 42 480. The salesperson, Vanessa Solomons, ensured us on the 24 and 25 January that the Sienna fabric chairs are very popular and that they have plenty in stock. The delivery was booked for Tuesday 27 January and then moved to Thursday, 29 January by Rochester's. On 28 January we were informed that there was suddenly no stock of the Sienna chairs and that we would only receive them end of February 2015. Also, that the exotic leather couches will only arrive on 02 February 2015, because the delivery truck was too full. On 02 February 2015, the salesperson, Vanessa Solomons, informed us that there is still no stock of Sienna chairs and we can only expect them end of March 2015! We would never have purchased furniture if we knew there was no stock and that we could only expect them in 2 months time, as they do not even exist in the so-called warehouses. I suggest to all to avoid Rochester's exploitation and try more honest suppliers in South Africa
