Rochester *******?

Purchase from Rochester Strubens Valley: Complaints<br> <br> In December I purchased a Cassidy lounge Suite.<br> We chose the Capri Natural Range 7 ***<br> I paid R 10 000.00 deposit on December <br> <br> On January 18 orf 19th I received a call from the sales lady at the Strubens branch.<br> 3. She advised me that there was an error and that I needed to pay inb an additional R 5000.00 as the fabric price given to me had increased and was now incorrect.<br> 4. I placed an order in December with a firm quote and paid the deposit.<br> 5. A month later I am advised the quote was incorrect.<br> 6. I went into the shop on January 21 to discuss this.<br> 7. The sales lady could not give me a suitable explanation other than that the Factory has said the price on the fabric was wrong and conceded it was an oversight and error with Rochester.<br> 8. I indicated that we had a contract for offer and acceptance and that I had accepted the offer and paid a deposit accordingly and that Rochester was accountable to carry the shortfall from the error and not the customer.<br> when delivered the fabric was wrong. Manager said its a colour variation and nothing can be done. <br> No response from web site complaint or Face Book
